Church of Uganda pastors graduate from the Pastors Equipping Network
The first graduation took place on 19 August 2025 at Uganda Christian University, in the third year of the partnership between the Church of Uganda and CTN.

A movement of 13 million believers
The Church of Uganda is an evangelical movement of about 13 million congregants, in a country of roughly 47 million people.
Over three years, 10,000 clergy and laity studied and completed the PEN course, and the church is eager to continue the partnership, including moving into holistic leadership development.

What the training changed
Rev. Canon Simon says the Church of Uganda partnered with CTN because equipping clergy to proclaim and protect the truth of God’s Word is central to its Christ-centered, disciple-making vision.
He testifies that the first three resources have brought visible transformation to pastors’ personal lives, marriages and ministries, and have deepened unity across the church.
The ceremony celebrated that impact, and the church is eager to continue the partnership, including moving into holistic leadership development.
